The current White House administration does everything to continue the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the allocation of the next package of assistance to Ukraine from the United States in the amount of $ 725 million.
“The current administration pursues its goals, its consistent line to prevent this war from slowing down, the administration does everything possible to further add oil into the fire,” said Peskov, whose words are brought by the Russian media.
At the same time, he indicated that “both these and all other parties of assistance cannot change the course of events, cannot affect the dynamics that are on the fronts.”
The Kremlin representative also commented on the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry that the security of this country can only be its full membership in NATO.
“This absolutely contrasts with our thesis about the indivisibility of security,” Peskov emphasized.
According to him, the security of one country cannot be ensured to the detriment of the other.
“This is the immutable rule of international relations that we are guided by,” Peskov noted.
“Therefore, potentially such a decision is unacceptable for us, because it is a threatening event. And this does not eliminate the root cause of what is happening, the root cause of the circumstances that forced us to go to a” special military operation ” – – He pointed out.
The Kremlin also commented on the statements of the German Chancellor Olaf Sholts that the support of Kyiv from the West would not weaken.
“It is unlikely that these statements are made daily by representatives of different European states. They deliberately continue their destructive line of provocation, continuing this war. Only this is how we relate to this,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
He noted that contrary to the statements of the German Chancellor about the support of Ukraine, “it is the point of continuing contacts, to resume them always eating.”
“The president has repeatedly said that it remains open to the dialogue in terms of achieving our goals,” Peskov recalled.
“We continue the” special military operation “until all the tasks are achieved, he said.
Peskov also announced the continuation of preparations for the visit of President Iran Masudskin to Russia.
He noted that the parties do not intend to pull with the signing of the contract, but “at the moment, until the end of the year, there is no clear understanding that such a visit will take place.”
According to him, “if necessary, such contacts can be very promptly agreed.” “But such a visit is being prepared, preparation is underway,” said the Kremlin representative.
