“in the Kremlin do not have information about the arrest of four Russians on accuses to espionage in Turkey,” said Dmitry Peskov’s press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Sadkov, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, if Russian citizens were detained, Turkey was to inform the diplomatic representation of Russia.
“This information really had to be provided if we were talking about it. We still do not have such information,” the representative of the Kremlin added.
Recall, earlier the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported that four citizens of the Russian Federation, one citizen of Uzbekistan and one – Ukraine were arrested in Turkey on charges of military and political espionage, as well as the preparation of attacks on Chechen oppositionists.
