Kremlin: Finland And Sweden “drag” NATO Military Infrastructure To Themselves

Russia had mutually beneficial cooperation with both Finland and Sweden, but these countries themselves chose to reduce relations with the Russian Federation to zero. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday, April 1.

“there were no problems, it was precisely mutually beneficial cooperation. The companies of the two countries received dividends and benefits from this cooperation. Both Finland and Sweden preferred to reduce these relations actually to zero. This, unfortunately, is the sad state of our relations, which we are observing now,” the Russian state media quoted the Kremlin as a representative of the Kremlin.

.

Peskov pointed out that Finland and Sweden place NATO military infrastructure on their territory. “I will remind you of the words of the president [of the Russian Federation] that Finland and Sweden have no problems with them at all. And now they are already dragging the NATO military infrastructure to their territory,” said the Russian leader’s spokeswoman, answering the question of the statement of President Finland Alexander Stubba.

Earlier, at a press conference in London, he stated that the republic should “morally prepare” to restore relations with Russia.

Finland officially joined NATO on April 4, 2023, Sweden – March 7, 2024.
