Kremlin: Putin’s Meetings With Sholts And Trump Are Not Prepared

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov denied the statement that Vladimir Putin’s meetings with Chancellor Germany Olaf Sholts and the elected US President Donadd Trump are being prepared now.

Earlier, the Bundestag deputy Roderich Kizvetter made applications for the preparation of such contacts. He claimed that Scholz could visit Moscow until February 23, and the meeting of Trump and Putin is “scheduled for March.”

“At the moment there are no such plans,” Peskov told TASS to the TASS agency in response to the question of whether such contacts are really being prepared.

As Der Spiegel previously wrote, the Christian Democratic Union allegedly received information that Scholz could go to Moscow in the near future to raise the rating of his Social Democratic Party (SDPG) before the elections. In the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany, TASS told TASS that this information is a fiction.
