Russian President Vladimir Putin did not give new orders about the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, previous decisions on the abolition of the assault and blocking of the industrial zone continue to operate, the press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov said.
“You witnessed: publicly the president and the commander in chief gave the order to refrain from the assault. There were not any other orders to the commander in chief,” said the Kremlin representative in response to the question of whether Putin’s previous decree was canceled, TASS reports.
Peskov also confirmed that the blocking of the plant is now ongoing. “Of course,” Peskov noted.
