“Our goals are well known, and these goals can be achieved either through a special military operation or through negotiations. Russia is open to both. The special military operation continues, and its continuation does not depend on climatic conditions, on weather conditions . Her goals will be achieved, ”said the Kremlin representative.
Commenting on the proposal of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to hold public negotiations, Dmitry Peskov said that there were no such negotiations.
“It is difficult to imagine public negotiations at all. There are no public negotiations. Moreover, public negotiations in such a field. But definitely one thing: the Ukrainian side does not want any negotiations, the special military operation continues, its goals should be achieved,” he said .
However, Dmitry Peskov noted that Washington, if desired, is able to influence Kyiv and make it more accommodating.
