The Armenian Parliament elected an ombudsman for a candidate from the ruling faction “Civil Agreement”, former Minister of Justice of Christine Grigoryan, transmit Armenian media.
According to the results, 68 deputies voted for it.
Recall that the term of the powers of the current Ombudsman of Arman Tatokan expires in February of this year, and the authorities do not intend to re-elect it. In December last year, Tataryan made a sharp criticism of the ruling party “Civil Agreement” and accused Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan in a pressure on the ombudsman using various methods.
