Kuleba: Ukraine does not want direct contacts with Russian Federation at second summit of world

Ukraine does not want direct contacts with Russia at the second summit of the world. However, it admits that the experience of the Black Sea Grain initiative can be used. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, whose words are given by RBC-Ukraine.

The minister noted that he admits the format of the participation of the Russian Federation, as during the Black Sea Grain initiative, since then Ukraine did not interact with Muscovoy directly, but only through intermediaries – the UN and Turkey.

“We have a very successful experience of negotiations on the Black Sea Grain initiative. Then Ukraine was negotiating with Turkey and the UN, then Turkey and the UN negotiate with Russia. The agreement looked like a document signed between Turkey, the UN and Ukraine, as well as Turkey, the UN and Russia, ”Kuleba said.

The first world summit in Ukraine was held in Switzerland on June 15 and 16.
