In Azerbaijan, tens of thousands of believers Muslims made a festive prayer on Wednesday in connection with the sacred holiday of Kurban-Bayram.
In the capital of Baku, all mosques were crowded from early morning, including the one that is located at the alley of the Shahids and the monument to the Turkish soldiers.
After the festive prayer, prayers for peace and prosperity of the country, as well as for the prevention of disagreements in the Islamic world, were exalted.
Muslims exchanged congratulations and headed to the markets to enforce the ceremony of sacrifice.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated compatriots on one of the main holidays of the Muslim world. The head of state shared on his social network page by publication on the occasion of the holiday.
