The head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak said that Kyiv is counting on the decisive role of China in achieving a strong world between Ukraine and Russia.
In a statement published on the social network X, Ermak wrote about the meeting of the Foreign Minister of Ukraine with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Van and the 61st Munich Security Conference in Germany.
Ermak noted that at the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sibiga was leaning with the Chinese Minister of the Vision of Ukraine regarding a fair, comprehensive and sustainable world
“as a global player, China should play a decisive role in achieving peace,” he emphasized.
According to Yermak, the Minister of Wang also stated that Ukraine “should be a party to any negotiations” and the participation of Europe in this process “is extremely important”.
According to the China Foreign Ministry on the results of the meeting, Minister Wang noted that China has always tried to promote peaceful negotiations on the Ukrainian crisis and will continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis.
recalling that China, along with the countries of the South, headed the initiative of the “Friends of the World” to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, Wang said that Beijing supports all efforts to achieve a fair, strong and compulsory peace agreement acceptable to all parties.
