Hungary used the principle of unanimity of decisions to expand the EU to block the further advance of Ukraine on the way to entering the community.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European integration, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina in the fields of the 61st Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian media reports.
“While we are talking here, one member state blocks the entrance process of Ukraine in the EU – this happened just yesterday,” the words Stephanishina are given.
As reported, later on the sidelines of the Munich conference, Stepanishin confirmed that we are talking about Hungary.
