The Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan is looking for land and investor to recreate the ancient city of Balasagun.
About this at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament) of the country, the head of the department Altynbek Maksutov reported, local media reports.
According to him, to recreate the ancient city, 10 hectares of land are needed.
The medieval city of Balasagun existed on the Chi River on the territory of the present Kyrgyzstan, near the modern city of Tokmok.
