Kyrgyzstan almost completely switched to calculations in rubles during trading operations with Russia, said Minister of Economics of the Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev at a press conference in Bishkek.
Moscow and Bishkek began to switch to calculations in national currencies in the spring of this year. According to Daniyar Amangeldiev, payment in dollars was still made for fuels and lubricants. Recently, it was decided on the transfer of calculations from the Russian Federation for them in rubles.
Thus, as the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic said, the Kyrgyz side currently pays for almost all goods imported from Russia in Russian rubles.
In his speech, he noted that due to strengthening the ruble in the republic, gas prices and diesel fuel prices rose. Today, Russia is the main supplier of fuel and lubricants to the Kyrgyz market.
