Kyrgyzstan signed a protocol with Tajikistan on the termination of the conflict and its consequences, said the head of the State Committee of National Security Kamchybek Tashiev to the local media.
“I hope that all points of the protocol will be executed and peace and consent will come to the Kyrgyz and Tajik lands,” Tashiev said.
Negotiations were held at the Kyzyl-Bel checkpoint of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. Tashiev and the envoy of the president of the country participated from the Kyrgyz side. On the Tajik side – the head of the State Committee for National Security, the head of the Sogdian region of Tajikistan.
