Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan discussed cooperation

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zheparov as part of the working visit of Urumchi (Xinjiang-Uygursky Autonomous Region of the PRC) held negotiations with a colleague from Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the three promising infrastructure projects included in the summons of bilateral cooperation, indicated by the heads of state of the two countries.

In addition, negotiations were held on the construction of the Kambaratinsky hydroelectric power station and hydroelectric power station on the Chatkal River.

The heads of government of the two countries also discussed the project for the construction of the Talas -Chatkal -Tashkent highway. It was noted that at present, a roadmap is being developed on this project and the implementation of the project will make it possible to increase mutual trade and increase the tourism potential of the two countries.

At the same time, there was an exchange of views regarding the intensification of joint work on the construction of the conveyor tape and the coal logistics center aimed at the supply of coal from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan.
