The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the bill “On ratification of the contract between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border”, the agency “Anadola”.
The document will officially enter into force after its signing by the presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov earlier on Thursday at a meeting of parliament, urging deputies to support the State Border Agreement with Uzbekistan. According to Zhaparov, if the issue of borders is not resolved now, it will be difficult to come to such a favorable agreement in the future.
