In Kyrgyzstan, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, the IX International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”. This was reported by the press service of the Secretariat of the Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS.
This year, schoolchildren and their mentors from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participate in it.
On the forum, each delegation will present a presentation of national traditions and customs of its country. Among the events that have prepared for children – exhibitions, master classes, sports competitions, intellectual games, educational trainings, music contests, art evenings and many others.
Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”, initiated by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, has been held annually since 2013. In total, during its existence, more than 700 schoolchildren took part in it. The main goal of the project is to create an international platform for raising children and youth in the spirit of good neighborly and cooperation. The organizers are the inter -parliamentary Assembly of the CIS and the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the interstate fund of the humanitarian cooperation of the states – participants in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
