Cooperation with the UN is a promising direction in the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan. This was said by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov at a meeting with UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterrysh in the city of Cholpon-Ata, the book “Kabar”.

“No one can argue that the UN is the most universal international organization. The UN activities are aimed at preserving peace and developing global, social and climatic changes. From the first days, as Kyrgyzstan has become a member of the UN, cooperation with the organization is a promising direction in the external the policy of the country, ”Zhaparov said.
The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan fulfills all international initiatives with full responsibility. According to him, Bishkek highly appreciates the level of multilateral relations with the UN. “All our relations with the organization meet all the requirements of promising cooperation,” the president said.
The President noted that the country is actively fulfilling the goals of the Sustainable Development of the UN, which are included in the long -term strategies of the country and are also the basis of the country’s state policy.
