Kyrgyzstan Joined Global Migration Agreement

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree providing for the country’s accession to a global agreement on safe, ordered and legal migration. This was reported by the book “Kabar” with reference to the Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The department noted that this important step indicates the commitment of Kyrgyzstan international standards and principles. The contract is aimed at improving migration management, ensuring the rights of migrants and promoting international cooperation in this area.

Kyrgyzstan strives to integrate into a global migration system based on respect for human rights and principles of humanity. Joining the global agreement emphasizes the country’s commitment to international standards and will become an important step to improve the national migration policy.

The presentation and leading principles of the contract largely coincide with the priorities set forth in the concept of migration policy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030, for purposes in the field of sustainable development (CUR UN), where the programs are aimed at strengthening human capital and improving the living conditions of citizens, including including migration participants.
