According to the agency, during the exercise, issues of preparing and conducting operations to maintain the world by collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO in the Central Asian region of collective security were worked out.
The goals of the joint exercise “The indestructible fraternity-2023” set: the Committee of Practice in organizing the operation to maintain peace and manage the departments of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, the improvement of the field training of peacekeeping contingents during joint actions, strengthen the relations and cooperation between states – CSTO members, as well as further improvement of combat training of national contingents of the CSTO member states in the implementation of the tasks during the peacekeeping operation.
In the course of practical actions, several tactical episodes were worked out – the transfer of military contingents to the prescribed areas, the formation of columns and the commission of the march on automobile and armored vehicles, the organization of security, the conduct of the route of movement, the clearance of homemade explosive devices, the blocking and destruction of illegal equipment, the formation of a march. armed groups, fulfillment of tasks for the protection of important state and military facilities.
As part of the exercise, practical actions were also carried out to service at the checkpoints (checkpoints), the procedure for inspection of vehicles, patrolling, and first aid to refugees. The actions to support columns with humanitarian aid, the protection of important infrastructure facilities, blocking and inspection of the village, assault on the building, assistance in providing humanitarian assistance were worked out.
In total, the national contingents of the peacekeeping forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan have a total number of about 1,500 military personnel, as well as more than 200 units of aviation, armored and automobile equipment, military transport, fighter and army aviation, marine ships. and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The actions of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO member states were observed by the Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Bekbolotov, the Minister of Defense of Tajikistan Sherali Mirzo, the Secretary General of the CSTO Imangali Tasmagambetov, Secretary of the Council of Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Marat Imankulov, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus.
