In the laboratories at the Azerbaijani Institute of Food Safety, measures are regularly taken to strengthen the material and technical base, as well as for modernization with the aim of developing a laboratory system in the field of food safety. The participation of personnel in training and international tests for the introduction of advanced technologies in laboratories and to increase competence is also ensured.
As part of the events, the institute’s complex research laboratory took part in the qualifications organized by the British company LGC Standards. According to the results of the checks, the laboratory received successful results according to the parameters “E. coli”, “thermotolerant Escherichia sticks” and “coagulazo -positive staphylococci”.
Laboratory of complex research regularly participates in international competencies organized by various companies, and achieves successful results. The laboratory has veterinary drugs, plant care and protection products, as well as substances and materials in contact with food products, food products, as well as food additives on the composition, quality and safety indicators.
