Prime Minister Yair Lapid criticized the UN Palestinian resolution against Israel. Lapid said that “Israel decisively rejects this proposal.”
“We are again about the one -sided step of the Palestinians, which undermines the basic principles of resolving the conflict and can damage any possibility of a future peaceful process. Palestinians seek to replace negotiations with unilateral measures.”
“This step will not change the reality in the field, nothing will bring anything to the Palestinian people and can cause escalation. The support of the Palestinian step is a gift for terrorist organizations and the anti -Israeli campaign.”
Lapid called all the countries that supported the proposal, “to revise their position and oppose him during the vote in the General Assembly.”
The considered resolution was considered, which is called: “The practice and settlement activity of Israel, affecting the rights of the Palestinian people and other Arabs in the occupied territories.”
Its text contains a request for an international trial in the Hague “Urgently make an advisory opinion regarding the ongoing Israeli occupation.”
On November 11, during the voting at the UN, it was decided that the International Court in the Hague would give a legal conclusion regarding the “continuation of the presence of Israel on the west coast”.
