In Ukraine, 42 investigators of the International Criminal Court (MUS) will come to investigate war crimes that Russian invaders committed to the investigation of war crimes. This was announced by the chief prosecutor of the Mus Karim Khan, writes Lemonde.
He noted that this is “the largest deployment ever undertaken by his office.” The group of investigators includes 30 specialists from the Netherlands, including forensic experts and analysts who have to “find facts and establish the truth.”
The prosecutor emphasized that he is not worried about whether he would perform the justice of the Mus or the national authorities – “the main thing is that the investigations are deserving, honest and independent, and that the judge can then make the decision.”
