The eighth stage of the 59th presidential cycling of Turkey (TUR 2024) will be held in Istanbul on Sunday, April 28.
The length of the route of the last round is 105.4 km. The start of the competition will be given at 11.00 local time on Besiktash Square. Athletes finish on Sultananamet Square.
The previous stages of the cyclingure took place in the provinces of Antalya, Mugug, Aydin, Manisa and Izmir.
For the first time, such a cycle was organized in 1963 and then bore the name “Tour around the Marmara Sea”.
In 1966, Kelotur first received international status, and in 1968 he transferred to the patronage of the president.
Velotor is the first and only intercontinental multi -day cycling in the world.
The cyclists route annually runs through the most panoramic areas of Turkey.
