Latvia and USA today will begin exercises using Himars

, at the request of the National Armed Forces in Latvia to NATO, actions for the delivery and deployment of Himars by MC-130J Commando II special operations in Europe will be worked out, according to the message.

The site of the exercises will be attended by the Minister of Defense of Latvia Artis Pabrix, commander of the National Armed Forces Leonid Kalnins and US Ambassador John Carwil.

After landing at the airport of Liepaja aircraft with Himars, they will go to the Schuke landfill, where combat firing at targets in the waters of the Baltic Sea will be carried out.
