Launch Of Chinese Missile “Lygun-1 Y6” Was Unsuccessful

The last launch of a group of satellites of 2024 in China was unsuccessful.

According to the statement of Cas Space, related to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 11 satellites launched from the Cyutsun satellite center in the north-west of the Lacuenia-1 Y6 rocket (Kinetica-1 Y6) did not reach the orbit.

The first two steps of a solid fuel missile worked normally, but due to the “height imbalance”, an automatic security system worked at the third stage, which destroyed the missile along with satellites.

Among the destroyed devices were commercial satellites owned by Chinese companies, as well as nanosonnik, developed by the French Astrophysical Laboratory for the study of the magnetic anomaly in the South Atlantic.

Licien-1 missile, developed by Cas Space, created by the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is able to withdraw from 1.5 to 2 tons of cargo to low near-earth and sunny synchronous orbit.

The five previous launches of the Licisen-1 missile were successful.

In China in 2024, 68 launches were made, 3 of which were unsuccessful. Two Testy Navigation satellites of the Earth Luna, launched by the Long March 2C rocket in March, did not reach the planned orbital position. The launch of the Hyperbola-1 rocket in July also ended in failure.
