Moscow can make an important contribution to the settlement of regional crises in the South Caucasus. This, as reported by the Greparak newspaper, said the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during the “government hour” in the Federation Council.
Foreign Minister said that Russia continues to focus on overcoming regional conflicts, in the settlement of which Russia makes an important and specific contribution.
He also added that Moscow should play a key role in the termination of the second Karabakh war, as well as in finding strong solutions of controversial issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
