“The previous year was not easy for bilateral relations. Lavrov also attracted attention to the cooperation of Russia and Armenia in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation also announced the readiness of Moscow to assist the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“We are ready to provide the necessary assistance to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in all tracks in the development of those tripartite agreements that were reached by the leaders of the three countries in 2020, 2022,” the minister

In turn, the Foreign Minister of Armenia called his visit to Moscow “relevant” in the light of the dynamics of the development of bilateral relations between countries.
“I would like to identify the interest of the Republic of Armenia in the continuation of an effective political dialogue aimed at discussing issues affecting our bilateral relations and the regional situation as a whole,” he said.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia also noted that an important component of cooperation, partnership between countries, “is certainly an economy where a” steady positive effect is observed, which favorably affects the development of trade relations. “
