Lavrov: Russia did not refuse negotiations with Ukraine

Moscow never refused the negotiation process with Kyiv. About this, as Russian media writes, said on Tuesday by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“We never refused negotiations, because everyone knows well: any fighting ends at the negotiation table,” Lavrov said on Tuesday at a press conference in the capital of Uganda Entebbe.

At the same time, he added that “the USA, Great Britain and a number of European countries banned Ukrainians to agree” with Russia on the basis of proposals discussed in Istanbul.
