Lavrov: Russia is still restrained by West

Russia so far restrainedly responds to acts of economic aggression, but its patience has borders. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the Russian newspaper.

“Of course, we have all the possibilities to protect our national interests. If necessary, we will use them in full force. Those who speak the language of sanctions with Russia should remember that so far we are quite restrained to acts of economic aggression, but Our patience is not limitless, ”said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He emphasized that the West uses the accession of Ukrainian territories and referendums as a new excuse to strengthen pressure on Russia.

“We are already accustomed to the fact that the countries of the West are constantly preparing some anti-Russian measures. When there is no reason, they will surely come up with it in Washington, and everyone else simply follow in the fairway, given by the Americans. So referendums in the liberated territories are used only in As a different excuse to strengthen pressure on our country. We, in general, did not expect that it would be different, ”Sergey Lavrov explained his position.
