Lawyers will host trainings about human rights

On the eve of the joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe, including in collaboration with the board of lawyers, an online meeting and a presentation of trainings for Help lawyers were held (European Human Rights Education Program for Lawyers) on the topic “European Convention on Human rights and access to the European Court of Human Rights. “

The purpose of this event is to provide participants with preliminary information on the methodology of learning HELP and upcoming training.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Bar Anar Bagirov, deputy head of the Baku office of the Council of Europe Kyrylo Boycheniukom and manager of the Council of Europe project Mushtehidzade Mahir, who stressed the importance of the acquisition of the lawyers of modern methods of human rights education.

Next instructors under Help Judge of the Baku Administrative Court Ilkin Rajabov and a member of the board of lawyers Sadig Bagirov provided preliminary information about the upcoming trainings on the topic “Introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights” and “Application of the European Convention on Human Rights in National Legislation.”

Note that in trainings that will last 1 month will be attended by 50 members of the Board of Lawyers, and the participants who have successfully completed the course will be awarded the certificate of assistance of the Council of Europe.
