Calligraph Hassan Cheleby, who is called the “leader of the Calligraphs” and whose signatures can be found in many mosques of the world, died in Istanbul at the age of 88.
Due to the disease, Chelebi was treated for some time at the Istanbul Medipol hospital in Koshuola.
Former Minister of Health Fakhrettin Kodja announced the death of Cheleby, who is the author of calligraphy of the mosque Buyuk Chamlydzha and the mosque Sri Sendyan in Malaysia.

He has about 100 students in different parts of the world. Hassan Chelebi became a master of calligraphy, who taught most of the students after Hamid Aitach.
