Leaders Of Kazakhstan And Russian Federation Discussed Development Of Energy Cooperation

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev and Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a telephone conversation, discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Russian cooperation.

According to Akorda on Monday, August 26, the interlocutors noted the need to fully implement the agreements previously reached at the highest level in the trade, economic and energy spheres.

The leaders of the two countries agreed to ensure high -quality training of the state visit of Vladimir Putin to Astana.

Presidents exchanged views on topical issues of an international agenda. Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan.

The Kremlin’s press service said that Tokaev and Putin during a telephone conversation continued to discuss topical issues of further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, including in the energy sector.
