President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov on Monday, November 25, as part of an official visit to Austria, negotiated with the President of the country Alexander Van der Bellen in the format of Tete-Tet. This was reported by the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral and international agenda. Particular attention was paid to issues of political interaction, as well as the prospects for strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Austria.
Aleksander Van der Bellen emphasized the importance of a sustainable dialogue between countries that contributes to the strengthening of mutual trust and the development of joint initiatives.
The head of the Kyrgyz state expressed gratitude to his Austrian colleague for invitation to visit Austria on an official visit, noting that this visit, which has been the first over the past nine years, will be an important step towards strengthening the Kyrgyz-Austrian interstate relations.
The President emphasized the presence of significant potential to expand interaction between the two countries and confirmed Kyrgyzstan’s readiness for active cooperation on its implementation.
President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that negotiations would give impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Austrian relations and open up new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in various fields.
Upon completion of the meeting in tet-a-tet, negotiations continued in an expanded composition with the participation of delegations of the two countries.
