The presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation and discussed the further strengthening of the alliance of the two countries. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.
During the conversation, Putin wished Lukashenko success in the presidential election, which will be held on January 26, 2025.
“Leaders confirmed the mutual attitude to further strengthening the allied and strategic partnership of the two countries and agreed on further personal contacts,” the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
