Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon solemnly opened the new building of the Uzbek embassy in the city of Dushanbe, the press service of the Uzbek leader reports.
The grand opening of the new building of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the city of Dushanbe took place as part of the state visit of the Uzbek leader.
The embassy has created all the necessary conditions for the effective organization of work aimed at the further development of multifaceted relations of strategic partnership and allies of the two states, ”the report said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon left their notes with wishes in the book of honored guests of the embassy.
In addition, the leaders of the two countries visited the industrial exhibition of Uzbekistan, organized in the capital’s ex -center.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the national pavilion under the brand “Made in Uzbekistan”, which presented finished and high -tech products of automotive industry, electrical engineering, agricultural machinery and food, as well as chemical, textile, pharmaceutical and other industries.
The heads of state noted the need to expand the cooperation of leading enterprises, mutual exchange of experience and a transference of technology.
As part of the State visit program to Tajikistan, the President of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev also met with the chairman of Majlisi, Majlisi Olya Makhmadtoir Zokirzoda.
During the conversation with satisfaction, the current highest level of multifaceted Uzbek-Tajik relations of strategic partnership and allies was noted.
The issues of further activation of inter-parliamentary exchange, effective contacts at the level of specialized committees and regional councils were discussed to support and promote cooperation projects and cultural and humanitarian programs.
The important role of the deputies of the two countries is indicated in the inventory of the adopted documents and the implementation of parliamentary control over the timely implementation of agreements at the highest level.
