ASPİLSAN ENERJI was founded in the city of Kaiseri in the central part of Turkey on April 2, 1981 on donations from local residents. Aspi̇lsan Enerji belong to the Turkish Armed Forces Fund.
The company for 44 years satisfies the needs of many sectors, primarily the Armed Forces of Turkey, in durable batteries.
Today, the company has capacities for the production of all types of civilian and military equipment, batteries for domestic combat aircraft, helicopters and spacecraft. The assortment of ASPİLSAN ENERJI has more than 300 products.
The batteries produced by the company are exported to various countries of the world. The company interacts with both defense and private sector.
ASPİLSAN ENERJI for the first time in Turkey began production of lithium-ion batteries.
In an interview with anadol correspondent, ASPİLSAN ENERJI Director General Akhmet Turan Ozdemir noted that the company produces an important and strategic product for Turkey.
The agency’s interlocutor emphasized that the company contributes to the export and increase in the power and prestige of Turkey in the international arena.
Ozdemir noticed that according to NATO reports, the defense industry of the world and Turkey is becoming more and more “intellectual”. “There is an unprecedented increase in the number of devices functioning in the field. All these autonomously working systems need an energy source. That is why our enterprise is so important,” he said.
