League of Nations: Azerbaijan visiting Slovakia

Today at 22:45 Baku time in Trnava, the match of the 5th round of the League of Nations between the national teams of Slovakia and Azerbaijan will be held. Both teams perform in group 3 of the league “C” together with Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The current game will be judged by a team of arbitrators from Scotland, led by William Collm. Video assistants – British Peter Benks and Nell Davis.

In the previous four matches of the current League of Nations, the Azerbaijani team scored 4 points and takes 3rd place. Our team lost to Kazakhstan (0: 2), played a draw with Belarus (0: 0) on the road, lost to the House of Slovakia (0: 1) and beat the Belarusians (2: 0).

In another match of the 5th round in our group, Kazakhstan will accept Belarus and in case of victory will secure 1st place and access to the league “B” of the League of Nations.

Recall, only the winner of the group receives the right to play in the “B” league in the next cycle. And the team that took the last place will fight to defend their place in the league “C.”
