Leonardo General Director Of Leonardo Concern Appreciated Baykar

Roberto Chingolani, general director of the Italian company Leonardo, which is one of the largest defense companies in Europe, highly appreciated the activities of the leading Turkish manufacturer of the unmanned aerial vehicles Baykar and the chairman of the Baykar board of the Selchuk Bayractar.

Gengolani said about this in an interview with the French newspaper Le Monde.

He emphasized that it is impressed by Baykar’s successes in the field of defense industry.

“We are engineers, so we speak the same language. He, like me, wears jeans, a T-shirt and sports shoes,” Gengolani shared his opinion about the head of Baykar.

Gengolani also spoke highly about the National Technological Center of Ozdemir Bayractar, which he visited on January 23. According to Roberto Chingolani, Baykar campus with his residential buildings, parks, kindergartens, pools, schools and charitable organizations reminded him of the “perfect” industrial city of Ivrea in Italy. Ivrea was built under the leadership of the famous Italian engineer Adriano Olivetty from 1930 to 1960.

March sixth 2025 in the capital of Italy Rome between Leonardo and Baykar, a partnership in unmanned technologies was signed.
