The level of participation in labor in Turkey in 2024 increased by 0.9 points to 54.2 %, reaching the highest indicator in the history of the republic. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Support of Turkey Vedat Ishikhan, commenting on the data published by the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (Tüi̇k).
Ishikhan noted that the unemployment rate in 2024 decreased by 0.7 points compared to the previous year – up to 8.7%.
