The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (node) nominates a candidate for the presidency of Uzbekistan the current head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the party’s press service.
The Political Council of the Node approved the candidacy of Mirziyoyev on May 12 for consideration at the upcoming congress.
At a party meeting, it was noted that over the past few years, under the leadership of the current president, which in 2016 and 2021 has also been advanced from the node, successes in various fields have been achieved.
“The future of the country, the requirements of rapid time impose a personality as a candidate in the upcoming elections as a candidate, capable of ensuring a firm and consistent promotion along the path of current reforms, to continue the implementation at a new level of such a difficult task as reforming society,” the notes noted In the statement, the node.
At the moment, presidential names have called all parties except the Milli Tiklanish.
The Ecological Party is nominated by its leader Abdushukur Khamzayev, the People’s Democratic Party – Ulugbek Inoyatov, the Social Democratic Party “Adolat” – Robakhon Makhmudov.
Elections of the President of Uzbekistan are scheduled for July 9.
