Libya Is Trying To Develop Sustainable Solutions To Problem Of Illegal Migration

The Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya Muhammad Al-Menfi said at a meeting of the Summit of the Future United Nations (UN) that his country is trying to develop sustainable solutions to the problem of illegal migration.

At a meeting of the Summit of the Future UN held within the framework of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UN), Menfi emphasized that Libya is making efforts to develop dialogue and cooperation in the fight against general problems, such as climate change, illegal migration and terrorism.

According to him, Libya is a “transit country” in the field of illegal migration. Menfi added that the government is trying to develop stable solutions to this problem.

Menfi also met with the chief prosecutor of the Mus Karim Khan in New York.

During the meeting, at which cooperation between Libya and Mus was discussed, it was emphasized that laws should be applied in all territories of Libya.

The Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya Mohammed al-Meni also noted that, within the framework of the authority granted to him, they are going to complete the work to establish the names of those who are involved in crimes in Libya.
