The ban on transporting goods to the Kaliningrad region through Lithuania was introduced after consultations with the European Commission, said Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielus Landsbergis before the meeting of the heads of the EU foreign policy in Luxembourg.
“From June 17, sanctions goods can no longer be transported through Lithuania. This is [the ban on the transportation of goods to the Kaliningrad region through Lithuania] was made after consultations with the European Commission and on its recommendations,” TASS quotes it.
