Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielus Landsbergis announced the need to develop a military alliance with Poland, reports TVP World.
At the same time, the head of Lithuanian diplomacy attracted attention to the “growing military threat from Russia”, noting the importance of cooperation with neighboring countries on this issue.
Poland and Lithuania, like the two sides of the Suvalka corridor, are responsible for one of the most sensitive regions of NATO. It is necessary to make a decision in relation to projects aimed at developing strategic intelligence infrastructure between the two countries as soon as possible, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister said.
Landsbergis emphasized the importance of regional cooperation with the countries of the North and Baltic, and also announced the need to strengthen national defense.
