Lithuania’s authorities, after the EU (EU) introduced sanctions against Russia and Belarus, froze funds in the amount of about € 62 million, the financial crime investigation service (SRFP) of the republic said.
“Due to the restrictions of the EU adopted in relation to Russia and Belarus, assets worth € 50 million, $ 12 million and 285 thousand rubles are frozen in Lithuania,” it is in it.
Financial sanctions were imposed against seven organizations related to Russia, and four with Belarus, the department specified. The SRFP also noted that now in relation to persons under the anti -Russian sanctions of the EU, there are restrictions on the possession of real estate. Their maximum number is limited by three apartments and one land.
