Lithuania Handed Over To Ukraine Short -range Air Defense System

Lithuania handed over to Ukraine portable anti-aircraft missile systems (air defense systems) of low-range with missiles, the Ministry of Defense of the country said.

According to the Ministry, portable anti-aircraft missile systems with missiles were delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the statement, the main areas of assistance planned for Ukraine in 2025 are air defense, ammunition, drones and antidrons.

Lithuania also plans to support the defense industry of Ukraine by financing the procurement of weapons produced in Ukraine.

In addition, Lithuania plans to contribute to the clearance coalition, which it leads together with Iceland.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Lithuania has provided Ukraine in the amount of more than 767 million euros. The total assistance of Lithuania to Ukraine is long -term in nature and exceeded the amount of one and a half billion euros.
