“I believe that our meeting is a very good entry to the upcoming meeting of the European Council, where Europe will have the opportunity to show whether the EU is able to make decisions, first of all, to strengthen our defense and, of course, according to the military assistance package, to which Lithuania is ready to contribute,” said the head of the Baltic state.
In addition, having discussed with Melony the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of security and defense, as well as bilateral relations, Nauced emphasized that the prime minister of Italy is an extremely important figure in communicating with Washington.
