President Livan Joseph Aun signed a decree on the creation of a new government led by Navaf Salam, consisting of 24 ministers. This was announced by the Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers Livan Mahmud Meckia.
Meccia published a list of ministers and their posts. Tareka Mitri was appointed to the post of deputy prime minister in the new office. The Minister of Defense was appointed Mishka Mnes, Minister of Foreign Affairs – Yusuf Redzhchi, Minister of Communications – Charles El Haj, Minister of Energy and Water supply – Joseph Saddy. The ministry of the internal affairs was headed by Ahmed El Hajar, the Ministry of Justice – Adil Nasar, the Ministry of Finance – Yasin Jabir.
In addition, the Minister of Health was the Nasruddin, the Minister of Culture – Gassan Sela, the Minister of Industry – Joe Isa El Huri, the Minister of Economics and Trade – Amir El Busat.
The Ministry of Agriculture was headed by Nizar Hani, the Ministry of Information – Paul Marcus, the Ministry of Social Affairs – Khanin Esid and others.
