Livana President Joseph Aun Instructed Army To Answer Shelling

President Lebanon Joseph Aun instructed the army to answer the shelling.

In a written statement, the president of the aun pointed out mutual shelling between Syria and Lebanon, which began on the evening of March 16.

“What is happening on the eastern and north -eastern borders can not continue, and we will not accept the continuation of this,” Aun said, adding that he instructed the army to respond to shelling.

Syria’s official information agency on March 16 reported with reference to the Media Bureau of the Ministry of Defense, that the members of the Hezbollah had an ambush on three Syrian army soldiers on the border with Syria and abducted them.

According to this information, the members of the Hezbollah stole 3 Syrian military and executed them.

Hezbollah, in turn, stated that it had nothing to do with incidents on the Syrian-Livanese border.
