According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, the leaders noted the symbolism of the first visit by Mark Rutte as the new Secretary General of NATO to Ukraine, calling this “a clear demonstration of the priorities of the alliance.”
“The key topics of negotiations included Euro -Atlantic integration and military strengthening of Ukraine. According to the President of Zelensky, this is what will create the best conditions for the restoration of a fair world.
Vladimir Zelensky spoke in detail about daily air attacks from Russia on the civilian population and objects, energy networks, as well as recent attacks on the infrastructure of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, ”the press service notes.
The message also emphasizes that during the meeting it was discussed as quickly as possible the decisions of the NATO Washington summit, in particular regarding the strengthening of Ukraine with new air defense systems, strengthening aviation capabilities, as well as the investment of allies in Ukrainian production of shells, drones and long -range funds.
“Vladimir Zelensky, Cyrus Starkmer and Mark Rutte agreed on their further steps,” the press service added.
